Criar Editor + Workbench

The problem

Designers were preparing every personalized invitation file by hand. Customers needed a way to edit their own details without breaking the layout, while production needed reliable print files.

The decisions

Separate customer personalization from designer-owned templates. The desktop workbench publishes the structure; the browser exposes the fields a customer can change.

Keep screen editing responsive while rendering 300 DPI CMYK production files on the server. Screen preview and print output have different jobs.

Model personalized designs separately from physical copies, so a large order cannot silently lose quantity. Integrate with the existing Laravel store through explicit contracts and deployment checks.

What changed

The company acquired the editor. Customers personalize and approve their artwork; production receives generated files through Google Drive. The companion workbench gives designers control over the templates behind that experience.
